Inner West Distillery Trail
Brand identity concept for the Inner West Distillery Trail, a new initiative celebrating the vibrant craft distilling scene in Sydney’s Inner West. While the area is known for its craft beer culture, this trail shines a spotlight on the mix masters and tastemakers redefining the local drinks scene.
A custom illustrated map captures the essence of the distillery community—its unique industrial buildings, local characters, and landmarks—tying everything together into a cohesive and engaging visual system. The result? A unified promotional platform that allows participating venues to maintain individuality while amplifying the collective spirit of the trail.
The identity is bold, cheeky, and deeply rooted in the character of the Inner West—where creativity meets community and tradition blends with innovation. A custom wordmark was designed with flowing letterforms inspired by the movement of pouring and mixing drinks, as well as the idea of a ‘trail’ itself. The colour palette takes cues from the rich hues of drinks and their ingredients, while flowing graphic textures echo the motion of liquid being poured and blended.
